Organisation
The Flatcoated Retriever Club consists of a board of 8 members. The board is assisted by a number of committees:
The Hunt committee: organises various exams and tests, in order to establish the usefulness of the dog after the shot and the cooperation with the huntsman. The gundogs will be judged on the effectiveness in bringing in the game and on the cooperation with the huntsman.
The Implementation committee: responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of the characteristics of the breed. Each member has a considerable knowledge on dog breeding as well as a relatively high interest in the Flatcoated Retriever. The committee is to make sure that it stays well informed on all developments in order to be able to inform and advise properly.

The Activities committee: a new format has been chosen for the activities of the FRC. Only one member of the committee is responsible for the coordination of the activities. Activities, e.g. walks, are organised by volunteers. In this way the FRC hopes to offer a divers selection of activities in various parts of The Netherlands.
